Use of Folio is governed by our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Please read both before creating an account or uploading content.
Intellectual property
The Folio platform, its design, software, logo, and the BentBox name are the property of Haas & Reed B.V. or its licensors. Photographs and other content uploaded by users remain the property of their respective authors and are made available on Folio under the licence described in our Terms of Service.
Copyright complaints & right-of-image takedowns
If you believe content on Folio infringes your copyright, or if you appear in a photograph and want it removed, see Section 8 of our Terms of Service for the procedure. Notices should be sent to legal@bentbox.co.
Online dispute resolution
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not, however, obliged to participate in any out-of-court dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
Responsibility for content
Folio is a hosting platform. Photographs and other materials uploaded by users are the sole responsibility of the users who upload them. We do not pre-screen user content and we are not the author of user content. Where we are notified of unlawful content, we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to it in line with our obligations under the EU Digital Services Act and Dutch implementing law.
Governing law
These pages, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. The competent courts of Midden-Nederland (Utrecht) have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
